Aluminium Radiators 4u is part of SMR Enterprises Ltd., a thriving company based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Established in, and trading online since 2002, SMR has a wealth of experience in the bathroom and heating industry, supplying a wide range of trade and retail customers. We offer great products that we believe in and the aim to give the highest level of customer support and service.
Our original website (smrbathrooms.co.uk) went online in 2002 using dial-up, long before broadband became popular in the UK. The first products we offered were modern and traditional hand made heated towel rails, that were manufactured locally for us, here in the UK. This then expanded with ranges of bathroom taps, showers and furniture. This resulted in many types of radiators, radiator valves and radiator accessories being added to what is effectively a bathroom-themed website. In an effort to refocus SMR Bathrooms and to offer ease of shopping for our customers, our column radiators and cast iron radiators got their own dedicated sites (columnradiators4u.co.uk and castironradiators4u.co.uk, respectively), then later we added our dedicated radiator valve shop (radiatorvalves4u.co.uk), offering the widest range of radiator valves and accessories, in a straight forward, easy to use website, offering next day delivery on virtually every product. In June 2020, during an almost worldwide pandemic lockdown, we launched Radiators 4u (radiators4u.co.uk) bringing our extensive range of products to you via a new industry-leading e-commerce platform, for the best ever online customer experience.
Primary to us, from our humble beginnings to this very day, is to give a high level of customer service, treating customer how we would expect to be treated ourselves. Our customer reviews reflect our passion for offering the best products, with friendly advice and a great customer experience. As much as you try, things don't always happen exactly as you planned and it's the effort that is put into fixing issues that makes a company stand out from the crowd.
A Living Wage for All
As well as treating our customers well, it is important for us to treat everyone who works at the company equally as well. We have a fun and friendly working environment, with support and regular one to one meetings with the whole team, to encourage their growth, alongside that of the company. Also, we believe it is only fair that everyone is paid a fair wage that they can afford to live on. It is our policy to pay all employees at least 10% above both, the governments "minimum wage" (for under 25s) and the governments "national living wage" (for over 25s). This also means our own "national living wage" equivalent exceeds that recommended by the Living Wage Foundation (www.livingwage.org.uk).

With a combined experience of more than 20 years, they have a wealth of experience and product knowledge to share with you. Our friendly sales team can answer your questions and help you select the right valves and accessories for your radiators.
The Warehouse - Jamie, Tim, and Stephen
Goods are despatched from our own warehouses in Portsmouth on the south coast and an additional select few depots across the UK. Our warehouse team here works tirelessly to offer a same working day despatch service for products leaving our Portsmouth warehouse facilities and makes sure that our customers get exactly what they've ordered without fuss or stress.
Customer Service - Laura, Alice and Alyssia
We pride ourselves on our high standards of aftersales, and as customer service supervisor, Laura makes sure all customers' questions are answered and any potential challenges are quicky resolved. With a wealth of experience in customer relations and first-class product knowledge, all our customer service agents are here to provide all our customers with peace of mind and pleasant experience.
Marketing - Rob and Rebecca
Marketing our websites is key for our customers to see what products we sell and to learn of the many new and exciting ranges we add on a regular basis. Being responsible for marketing, Rob and Rebecca ensure that our websites are visible and makes searching for our products an easy experience for our customers.
Website Maintenance / Content Management - Alek, Ben, Jason and Thai
Regular monitoring and maintenance of our websites and systems helps to keep our business running smoothly and Ben manages all of these aspects as our systems administrator and IT co-ordinator. Alek, Jason and Thai maintain and develop our new websites, produce our product imagery and videos which enables our customers to see products in all finishes, sizes and orientations.
Administration and Accounts - Debra
Debra manages accounts and ensures our prices are always correct and competitive.
Human Resources / Health and Safety - Georgia
Georgia co-ordinates human resources throughout the company and is our health and safety officer.
Managers - Shaun, Steve and Paul
Founding, running and developing the company for 14 years, Shaun and Steve both come from a strong mechanical engineering background. Both time-served apprentices, they have a combined engineering experience of more than 26 years prior to embarking on this enterprise. Taking the company from strength to strength over the past decade the pair are proud to manage a company that offers quality products at competitive prices, via a high level of customer service.
Our Commercial and Operations Director Paul is in charge of the day-to-day running of the company from logistics to liaising with suppliers and overseeing both trade and customer relations. With over 20 years of management experience, Paul maintains the open, easy-going, employee-friendly atmosphere at the company.
